Alaska Wait Lang!

Abueva: Makapag-BEAST mode na nga. ðŸ˜¡

Tatum's Hype is going down?

Jayson Tatum started the 2018-2019 regular season with a bang! Averaging a double double, 21PPG 10.7RPG, on the Celtics first three games. Some says before the regular season started that the sophomore is overrated. ESPN includes Jayson Tatum in their top 50 NBA rankings. Which he did proved the haters wrong by playing like the Celtics franchise player in the early games. Especially with Kyrie struggling offensively.

BullDozier is Back!

And yes Rob "BullDozier" Dozier is damn back!! After 2 conferences that are full of disappointments, frustrations, complaints here I am getting excited again for a new start! Asa sa import eh nu! hahaha! Though last year nung nagchampion ang Alaska, they played as a TEAM! It was not just Dozier doing the work, everybody were contributing in every aspects of the game. Ang sarap pa rin balik balikan ang championship last year! Tapos Ginebra pa kalaban sa Finals diba? Sarap! lol nevermind the last 2 conferences sabi nga nila,"Forget the past". haha!

I don't remember any import did this! haha! What a lighthearted man! He had also experienced the MRT ride. lol

You will be REMEMBERED by Pinoy b-ball fans! *Salute

It's Over!

It's tough for me to make this entry kaya medyo delay. lol Haphazardly, Alaska was eliminated by SanMig in the KO Quarterfinals game. :/

It Ain't Over 'til It's Over!

And the playoffs will start today. Here we are on a twice-to-beat disadvantage after losing to Air21 on their last game of the elimination round. Disregarding our shot to finish in top 4. I was disappointed and frustrated. But come to think of it, tayo nga fans lang frustrated paano pa kaya yung mga players and coaching staffs? We only finished 7th with the record of 4 wins and 5 losses. Not the place we wanted to be but like what McKines said in his blog what matters is they got in the playoffs.

Meralco Thunder Shocked the Alaska

Two words: Forgettable game!

Alaska started the game strong building up to a 10-point lead but late in the 1st quarter they loss their aggressiveness and started to turn the ball over. Abueva immediately got 3 fouls only in the 1st quarter! Yes you read it right. Napag initan na naman ng mga refs. lol

Gasoline Station League Continues..

Fell short last season to advanced in the playoffs. haha! Just so many rookie mistakes I did. lol! Trading Hawes for David Lee was the craziest! Trader happy ako eh., I did trade 17 times, losing my key players. haha! I'll do better this time with this line up I have now below...

Beauty of The Beast

He is misunderstood by fans, of course not me I'm bias! lol! If Calvin is playing against my team, for sure I would know what it feels like. Mayabang, dirty player, mga antics niya, flopper are the reasons why they hate him. Yes mayabang siya but I don't see him as a dirty player at least for his rookie year in the PBA. May nabalitaan ako nung amateur years niya, he punched a player in NCAA kaya I base it when he turns pro(PBA). hehe! I think Alaska Management did a good job disciplining Abueva not to retaliate pag binigyan siya ng hard foul. Tatayo lang siya na parang walang nangyari at ngingitian ka para lalo kang maasar! hahaha!

Found Their "Tamang Timpla" Back

They were defeated in their first game(Global Port). They lost by just 3 points(courtesy of El Granada dagger trey), and they were shooting pretty badly specially from freethrow line(40%). That could have gone either way...... But tonight was different. You can sense the will to win of the team.
"We are naturally a fun loving team but tonight we were about business." a quote Wendell McKines blog
After the tip off aggressive na agad sila. Their defense was great and controlling the rebound. Rain or shine was playing without their key point guard,Paul Lee, of course advantage na agad sa amin yun. Cyrus hits the first basket with a three point shot and since then tuloy tuloy nang umarangkada ang Alaska. Anchored by McKines aggressive play inside the paint. He owned Reid tonight. Dominated I think is the right term. haha! JVee Casio played great too with 21 points and shooting magnificently from beyond the arc. Make up for his poor perfomance in their debut game in the conference. McKines even compared Casio to Tony Parker.
"He(JVee) can get to the paint at will and also knock down crucial three pointer. He reminds me a lot of Tony Parker." -McKines

Their defense was great, Reid never got his game going. McKines made sure that he will have a hard time guarding Mr.Wensday. Though they turn the ball over quite a lot, balance naman offense nila,  McKines dominating the paint while JVee and our shooter getting their outside shots.

Nice win my beloved team Alaska! One game at a time! Let's do this! :)
